Last year, the Louisiana cult metal band Thou took the music world by storm during what was dubbed the 'Summer of Thou' by their fans. Between May and July, the band dropped three diverse EPs (The House Primordial, Inconsolable, and Rhea Sylvia), each record focusing on a particular sound, varying from noisy drone, quiet acoustic to melodic grunge. The Summer of Thou was concluded in August by the band's fifth proper full-length Magnus, following up on the bands masterpiece Heathen.
