Astio is a new-ish outfit from Trento in Northern Italy with members of Left in Ruins, Impulso, Tuono, and many others. After releasing a demo in 2020, they've come back with a split with Nagbeginning of July, and have also announced for the end of July a release of a one-side 12'' Bocche Stanche. As Agipunk Records promises, “this brand new combo delivers something really far from the fast/crusty/old schoolish noise we were used to, indeed this is totally catchy Peace/Post-Punk sung in Italian with hints of saxophone here and there. Imagine Wipers playing Gang Of Four (or vice versa) after having listened all day to Chain Cult.”

Astio je relativně nová kapela ze severoitalského Trenta s členy kapel jako Left in Ruins, Impulso, Tuono a mnoho dalších. Po demu z roku 2020 se začátkem července přihlásili se splitem s Nag a na konec července také ohlásili vydání one-side dvanáctipalce Bocche Stanche. A jak uvádí label Agipunk Records, “tohle nové kombo přinese úplně něco jiného než rychlý, hrubý old school noise, jaký od nich známe z dřívějška. Tohle bude chytlavý, italsky zpívaný peace/post-punk místy doplněný o saxofon. Představte si jak Wipers hrají Gang Of Four (nebo naopak) poté, co celý den poslouchali Chain Cult.”
